Two new Etsy Scarflettes
Two of my recent commissions
I reached 100 sales on my Etsy site the other day. I am so happy! Thank you to all who helped support me and my handmade knitted accessories. I really appreciate it. Hubby made me a crab dinner to celebrate, yes he is the sweetest. So here are some new scarflettes, and a few that I did for a commission that I love. I was asked to make the scarflettes 6 inches wide instead of 4, and I really like the way they turned out. Off to eat dinner!

A Whole Lotta Scarflettes
If you can't tell, I've mainly been focusing on Scarflettes lately, which I'm really excited about. They are my favorite knitted item to make, and I have a bunch of new yarn colors. I just got a Wholesale account set up too, which I'm super happy about. So if you're interested in doing Wholesale, please let me know! These Scarflettes will all be available on Etsy sometime during this week.
I discovered this amazing website yesterday. It's called Sacred Groves. The woman that owns this gorgeous land in Washington is incredible. She is pretty much what I aspire to be one day. She offers a multitude of workshops and classes, retreats, and gets to live in a green, lush forest, surrounded by nature. She believes in a mix of Goddess and Native American Spirituality, so she offers a lots of retreats on Goddess spirituality, and things related to that, and she was a Midwife. I found her through the Offbeat Mama website, who is the same woman that runs the Offbeat Bride website. I visited the Offbeat Bride website frequently when I was planning our wedding, and now she has had a baby, so she runs the Offbeat Mama site now too. She is awesome, and she is the daughter of the woman who owns Sacred Groves. What a cool family! Enjoy your day :)

Scarflette Crazyness
20 scarflettes for Bento
So I was loading up all of the 20 scarflettes I knitted for the Bento store, and all of the sudden my back went out. I was just bending down, and I was suddenly on the floor in tons of pain. So needless to say, I have gotten a little behind. So here are the new scarflettes I have made and loaded on Etsy. I ordered some new yarn, so I am so excited to make tons more scarflettes in all the new colors. Off to do my homework. :)

More Scarflettes, Flappers
MORE Scarflettes!!!! As I was looking at these pictures of the scarflettes worn as a headband and ear warmer, it reminded me so much of a Flapper style. Which I love, because I have been so interested in Flappers for a really long time. As my hair gets longer, it's growing into a Flapper hairstyle too, and I really love that.
Hope you're having a great weekend, it's super warm and sunny here! YAY :)

The Simple Shrug I'm knitting
Green rain boots from Target, yippy!!!
The spiral scarflettes that I designed seem to be the most popular style that I've created so far, so I am cranking them out! They are really fun to make too. I just ordered a ton of new yarn, in lots of new colors that I haven't used before, so I can't wait to start on that! It's snowing here, huge fluffy flakes, so I am cozying up with the dog and knitting and knitting and knitting.
I have been dreaming of a pair of green rain boots for awhile now, and I finally bought some HERE at Target online.
I have also been trying to knit my own shrug off of a pattern I found on some yarn I bought. HERE is the pattern. So far so good, except my gauge is a little off, so it's going to be a little bigger than I expected, but I think it will still be cute. I'll post some pictures when I'm done. Have a great day!
